The solo, spectacular and visual side of Afterlife's melodic techno.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Anyma's world.
Anyma pushes melodic techno towards grand spectacle, with shows where the staging matters as much as the music.
Matteo Milleri, one half of the duo Tale of Us and co-founder of the label Afterlife, launched the solo project Anyma in 2021 with the EP "Claire". The music stays in the melodic techno vein — emotional, cinematic — but comes with massive visual productions, up to a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. In his sets, Anyma syncs the music to visuals timed to the millimetre, in a format halfway between a concert and an installation.
