Belgian techno at its sharpest — dark, fast, uncompromising.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Charlotte de Witte's world.
Charlotte de Witte has brought hard, minimal techno to the biggest stages, against the grain of mainstream electro.
From Ghent, she started DJing in the late 2000s under the name Raving George, before taking back her real name and moving towards a much rawer sound in the mid-2010s. Her label KNTXT, launched in 2018, became its showcase: little melody, dry kicks, hypnotic build-ups cut for big sound systems. Regularly cited among the best techno DJs in the world, she moves from the Tomorrowland mainstages to Awakenings nights without ever softening her formula. Her sets often run beyond 140 BPM and bet on tension rather than big drops.
