Hannah Laing is reviving the trance and hard house of the 90s, carried by a community born online.
A dental nurse in Dundee for ten years, Hannah Laing mixed in her spare time until a 2019 bootleg of "Murder on the Dancefloor", backed by FISHER and Peggy Gou, changed everything. After a standout set at Creamfields in 2022, she became a full-time DJ, launched her label Doof and, in 2024, her own festival in Dundee. Her sound is fast and euphoric — trance, techno, hard house — and her sets bet on raw energy and rave nostalgia.
