The Chicagoan who made tech house a stadium phenomenon, without letting go of the club spirit.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape John Summit's world.
John Summit went from an accountant's desk to festival headline slots in just a few years.
An accountant in Chicago before going full-time, John Schuster began releasing tech house tracks in 2017 and broke through in 2020 with "Deep End". His label Off The Grid and his first album "Comfort in Chaos" (2024) confirm a generous, groovy sound, built for big crowds but rooted in club house. Known for his outspokenness on social media, he has become in a short time one of the most in-demand house DJs in North America. In his sets he keeps a rolling groove and round basslines, with just the right amount of big moments.
