The Dutch DJ who mentors the new generation as much as he gets festivals dancing.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Laidback Luke's world.
Laidback Luke strings together energetic house and new-talent scouting, in the studio as on stage.
Born in Manila in 1976, Lucas van Scheppingen broke through in 2002 with "Rockin' With The Best", then confirmed in 2008 with his cover of "Show Me Love".
Founder of the label Mixmash Records, he has also built a reputation as a mentor for the rising electronic scene, beyond his own DJ career.
An international martial arts practitioner, he cultivates a discipline uncommon among DJs, between world tours and discovering new artists.
