Radio-calibrated pop-rock from Los Angeles, carried by Adam Levine's falsetto voice.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Maroon 5's world.
Maroon 5 is one of the most played American pop bands of the 21st century, with an unbroken run of singles built for the airwaves.
The band formed in Los Angeles in the late 1990s and exploded in 2002 with "Songs About Jane" and its hits "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved". "Moves Like Jagger", "Sugar" and "Girls Like You" followed — a catalogue of hits that never really stops.
The formula is stable: pop-rock with funk arrangements, effective choruses, and Adam Levine as an ultra-recognisable frontman (through his voice and his years as a coach on The Voice in the United States).
In concert, Maroon 5 strings singles together without a break — a festival set designed like a best-of playlist.
