Netsky
Belgian drum and bass at its brightest and most melodic.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Netsky's world.
Netsky took liquid drum and bass out of the underground, between festival energy and pop choruses.
Boris Daenen, from Edegem, made his name in the late 2000s on the label Hospital Records with a fast but melodic, very tuneful drum and bass. His albums gradually bring him closer to pop and mainstream electro, without leaving the high tempos of the genre. Live, he often plays with a band, in an energetic, colourful format that contrasts with drum and bass's usual dark image.
