Calvin Harris
The producer who turned festival house into a machine for global hits.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Calvin Harris's world.
Calvin Harris is one of the most widely played electronic artists in the world, at the crossroads of house, pop and disco.
A Scot from Dumfries, he started out in his bedroom in the mid-2000s, sang his first tracks himself, then switched to pure production and pop collaborations from "We Found Love" with Rihanna in 2011. A decade of hits followed ("Summer", "This Is What You Came For", the album "Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1") and one of the best-paid residencies in Las Vegas. On stage, he sticks to an efficient DJ format: his own productions, big choruses, a build-up designed for very large crowds.
