Miami's big electronic music gathering, at Bayfront Park right downtown, in late March. Three days, ~165,000 festival-goers, the biggest names in global electronic music across several stages facing Biscayne Bay. Created in 1999. Next edition March 26 to 28, 2027, 18+ only.
Ultra Music Festival was born in 1999 in Miami, originally as a side party to the Winter Music Conference. It has established itself as one of the very first electronic music festivals in the world: three days in late March at Bayfront Park, a big urban park right in downtown Miami, facing Biscayne Bay and the Brickell skyline. Several stages, including the legendary Main Stage, host the biggest names in house, techno and EDM. ~165,000 festival-goers at the 2026 edition, sold out. 18+ only, no camping — you stay in the city.
Ultra long served as a global gateway to mainstream electronic music, before spreading into franchises across five continents (Ultra Europe in Croatia, Ultra Japan, Ultra Korea...). The Miami edition remains the historic benchmark, with sets that circle the world on video the very next day.
The site is in the city: no camping, you stay in Miami and reach Bayfront Park on foot, by Metromover (free) or shuttle. By late March, the heat is already well established in Florida — bring sunscreen, stay hydrated, and prepare to stand for three full days on concrete.
