The Dutch prodigy who became, at 17, a reference of progressive house.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Martin Garrix's world.
Signed to Spinnin' Records as a teenager, Martin Garrix became the most precocious face of the global electronic scene.
Spotted very young by the Dutch label Spinnin' Records, Martijn Garritsen released the track "Animals" in 2013, which propelled him to number one on the Beatport chart at just 17 — a record at the time.
Since then, he has strung together productions between progressive house and big festival machines, while keeping a compositional rigour that sets him apart from part of the big room scene.
A regular on the biggest mainstages (Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival), he has also multiplied collaborations with international pop and electro artists, widening his audience well beyond the historic EDM crowd.
On stage, his set alternates personal productions and remixes built live, with a staging designed for very large formats.
