The American producer-singer who has refused to pick a genre for twenty years.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Santigold's world.
Santigold blends pop, new wave, reggae and punk without ever letting herself be boxed into one genre.
Born Santi White in 1976 in Philadelphia, she became known with her first album "Santogold" (2008), praised by critics for its unapologetic eclecticism.
Between pop, new wave, reggae and punk influences, she has built an artistic and visual identity recognisable from a mile away, far from the industry's usual boxes.
