Mexico's big rock/indie festival, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, in late November. Three days, ~85,000 festival-goers a day, a top-tier international lineup. Launched in 2010. 2026 edition (16th) from November 20 to 22, headlined by Gorillaz, Twenty One Pilots and The Strokes.
Corona Capital was born in 2010 in Mexico City, backed by OCESA (Mexico's major live events promoter) and sponsored by Corona beer. The festival takes place every late November at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the city's Formula 1 circuit, transformed into a festival site for the weekend. Over sixteen editions, Corona Capital has established itself as the big rock/indie event for Mexico and Latin America, with a lineup that rivals the biggest international festivals. The 2026 edition is headlined by Gorillaz, Twenty One Pilots and The Strokes, across more than 70 artists in total.
Mexican audiences have a reputation as some of the warmest on the global festival circuit — many international artists cite Corona Capital among their favourite tour dates. The atmosphere blends the local scene with Anglophone headliners, in a dense three-day format.
The site is urban with no camping: you stay in Mexico City and reach the Autódromo by metro, in the east of the city. In late November, Mexico City's climate is pleasant and dry (thanks to the altitude, evenings are cool despite sunny days).
