One of the best-selling indie pop bands in 2000s Britain.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape The Kooks's world.
The Kooks turned Brighton indie pop into radio hits, without ever leaving festival stages for twenty years.
Formed in Brighton in 2004 around Luke Pritchard, singer and the pillar who has stayed throughout despite many lineup changes.
Their first album "Inside In/Inside Out" (2006), carried by "Naive" and "She Moves in Her Own Way", became one of the biggest British indie successes of the decade, multi-platinum in the UK.
"Konk" (2008) confirmed their status as chart regulars, before a long career that has carried them to today without ever leaving the headline slots of the big British and European festivals.
