The Los Angeles singer-dancer who turned alternative R&B into a pop phenomenon.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Tinashe's world.
Tinashe blends alternative R&B, pop and dance with the stage presence of a choreographer.
Born in 1993 in Lexington, Kentucky, and raised in Los Angeles, Tinashe began very young in front of the camera and joined the group The Stunners before going solo.
She broke through with the mixtape Black Water (2013) and then the track "2 On" (2014), with ScHoolboy Q, and the album Aquarius: a carefully produced alternative R&B, where she sings and dances.
After years spent managing her career independently, she came back to the forefront in 2024 with "Nasty", a viral hit that gave her a second wind and a worldwide audience.
In concert, she embraces her dancer's background: meticulous choreography, live vocals and an unapologetic pop show that makes her highly anticipated at festivals.
