Stagecoach takes place every spring at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the same grounds as Coachella two weeks earlier. It's become the world's biggest country music festival: around 80,000 people a day, in the Coachella Valley desert, with that same Californian identity — cowboy hats and leather boots among the palm trees. The 2027 edition runs April 23 to 25, over three days.
Launched in 2007 by Coachella's organisers, Stagecoach exploded in popularity to become the biggest country music showcase in the world, blending established legends and the new generation across several stages.
On-site camping or Palm Springs hotels nearby: as with Coachella, the Coachella Valley desert turns, for one weekend, into the epicentre of country music, with an openly festive atmosphere (rodeo contests, line dancing, whiskey).
