The Sheffield band that took metalcore from the basement to the stadiums, without renouncing anything.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Bring Me the Horizon's world.
Bring Me the Horizon started out in extreme deathcore and turned, over four albums, into one of the biggest British rock bands — without ever fully smoothing out its sound.
Formed in Sheffield in 2004, BMTH built its reputation in the underground scene before a turn towards alternative rock and electronics with "Sempiternal" (2013) and then "That's the Spirit" (2015).
The album "Post Human: Survival Horror" (2020) and its follow-up blend metalcore, pop, hyperpop and video game music, with collaborations ranging from Amy Lee (Evanescence) to Ed Sheeran. The band has become a safe bet for rock festival headline slots.
Live, BMTH goes for the big spectacle: giant screens, pyrotechnics, and a crowd that knows every word.
