ROCK IMPARK

Rock im Park 2027

The Rock im Park festival.
In a nutshell.

Rock im Park takes place June 4 to 6, 2027 at the Zeppelinfeld, in Nuremberg, Bavaria. Born in 1993, based at this site since 2004, it's Rock am Ring's twin: the two festivals take place the same weekend with the same lineup, and bands play one day in one city, one day in the other. Together, they form Germany's biggest festival. The official website reports around 80,000 people a day for the 2026 edition; the record remains 2017's, with 88,500 people.

The first 2027 wave announces 26 artists, from Turnstile's hardcore to Die Toten Hosen's and blink-182's punk, via Bring Me The Horizon, Parkway Drive, Evanescence, Faith No More, Arch Enemy and special guest The Prodigy. It's a very broad rock and metal lineup, with three open-air stages and a Friday, Saturday and Sunday each with their own distinct mood: punk and alternative on Friday, metal on Saturday, pop-punk and post-hardcore on Sunday.

Unlike Rock am Ring, set on a racetrack in the Eifel hills, Rock im Park is in the city: camping spreads around Lake Dutzendteich, and Nuremberg's public transport (VGN) is included with the pass. So you can sleep on site and reach the historic centre without a car. The Zeppelinfeld is part of the former Nazi party rally grounds, a site heavy with history whose documentation centre is open year-round, right next door.
