David Guetta
The French DJ who brought house into the charts all over the world.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape David Guetta's world.
David Guetta took house from Parisian clubs to the world's biggest stages.
Discovering house music in the late 1980s in the clubs of the Les Halles district in Paris, Pierre David Guetta began mixing and producing long before the genre went mainstream.
His real turning point came in 2009 with the album One Love and the hit "When Love Takes Over": electronic house met pop and hip-hop, paving the way for a whole generation of producers.
Since then, he has alternated residencies in Ibiza, world tours and collaborations with some of the most-streamed pop and rap artists on the planet, without ever leaving the headline slots of the biggest electronic festivals.
On stage, his set stays true to the club spirit: little frills, polished transitions, and a rare ability to make a stadium dance as well as a 500-person club.
