The British duo behind "Born Slippy", the electro anthem of a whole generation.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Underworld's world.
Underworld left their mark on British electronic music with "Born Slippy .NUXX", immortalised by Trainspotting, and a career that has lasted for decades.
The main project of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith, Underworld has existed in various forms since the late 1970s, before establishing itself in the 90s as a pillar of the British electronic scene.
"Born Slippy .NUXX", used in the cult film Trainspotting (1996), became an instantly recognisable electro anthem, well beyond the clubs.
Still active, they remain a living reference of British techno and synth-pop, between legend and tours that are still current.
