France's oldest electronic music festival celebrates its editions in Brest, across the Manoir de Keroual, the Ateliers des Capucins and the Vauban district.
Born in 1995 in the wake of the first rave parties, Astropolis has become the elder statesman of French electronic festivals. Each edition takes over several landmark venues in and around Brest — including the Manoir de Keroual, an 18th-century wooded estate — for nights of techno, house and bass music.
Founded at a time when electronic music was still looked down on, Astropolis built its reputation on independence and DIY culture. The festival spreads its lineup across several venues in and around Brest, from the Manoir de Keroual to the Ateliers des Capucins, by way of the Vauban district.
The 2026 edition marked the festival's 30th anniversary, cementing its place among the most followed electronic music events in western France, with a lineup that blends international headliners and the local Breton scene.
