Arrive fresh in Las Vegas.
Flight, train, bus or carpooling: compare the options side by side with your real dates. The idea is to arrive with a bit of battery left — you included.

North America's biggest electronic music party, across two weekends in May 2027 (14–16 and 21–23) at the Las Vegas circuit: every night, from dusk to dawn, 9 stages, a full-scale funfair and around 175,000 people under fireworks.
The Electric Daisy Carnival — “EDC” — takes place in 2027 across two May weekends, the 14–16 and 21–23, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a racing circuit about twenty kilometres north of the Strip. It's North America's biggest electronic music event: every night, the party starts at nightfall and ends at sunrise, across nine stages surrounded by funfair rides, big wheels and light installations. Run by Insomniac and its founder Pasquale Rotella, EDC moves to two weekends for the first time in 2027, under the names “Dusk” and “Dawn.”
The flagship stage, Kinetic Field, can hold 70,000 people facing a monumental structure rebuilt every year. Around it, eight other worlds — from the hardest techno to trance and bass music — and a funfair running all night: eighteen rides, four big wheels, street performers. EDC's signature is its fireworks, fired at regular intervals until dawn, and a heavily costumed crowd that's part of the scenery.
The whole operation is built for night and desert heat. Camp EDC sets up air-conditioned tents and RV spots on the circuit, with its own pool and its own daytime programme. Those who prefer the city stay on the Strip and reach the site via official shuttles, which run all night. Either way: you sleep by day, live by night, and bring enough to last until the early morning.

Capacity, atmosphere, crowd, hours and on-site budget: the full profile of Electric Daisy Carnival 2027 before you get your tickets.
Nine stages, each its own world, from the world's biggest DJs to niche subgenres. Kinetic Field hosts the headliners in front of 70,000 people.
18 rides, 4 big wheels, street performers, light installations and fireworks fired until sunrise. The site is a spectacle in itself.
“EDC Dusk” (May 14–16) then “EDC Dawn” (May 21–23), with events across the city in between. You can attend one weekend or both.
Air-conditioned tents or RV spots on site, with a pool and daytime programming. The alternative: stay on the Strip and take the shuttle.
The Nevada desert in mid-May: up to 35°C in the afternoon, but nights drop to around 15°C. Light clothing, a warm layer, closed shoes and plenty of water.
A one-weekend General Admission pass starts at $399.99 (about €350), the two-weekend pass at $599.99. Add the transatlantic flight, accommodation (Strip or Camp EDC) and Las Vegas's high cost of living.
Dates, hours, transport and lodging: what you need to know before you go.
Two weekends: May 14–16 (“Dusk”) and 21–23 (“Dawn”) 2027. Each night, gates open in late afternoon and the site closes at sunrise, around 5:30am. “Dusk Till Dawn” events happen around the city from May 13 to 24.
New 2027 format: two three-night weekends, EDC Dusk (14–16 May) and EDC Dawn (21–23 May). General Admission pass from $399.99 for one weekend or $599.99 for both (all-in); GA+ from $499.99 / $899.99; VIP from $899.99 / $1,699.99. In early October 2026, the two-weekend passes and EDC Dawn passes are sold out; Dusk passes remain. Payment plan from a $5 deposit. Camping and parking booked separately. Minimum age 18, photo ID required.
Fully cashless on site via an RFID wristband, rechargeable online or on site. In the city, cards everywhere and tips expected. Plenty of free drinking water points at the festival.
Official shuttles from about twenty points on the Strip and downtown, running all night — the recommended option. Rideshare via a dedicated zone. Free parking but very long queues leaving in the early morning.
EDC has a well-developed ADA setup: raised platforms at every stage, golf carts, accessible camping, a dedicated help point. Apply in advance via the website.
