Arrive fresh in Split.

Ultra Music Festival's European edition: three days of electronic music at Park Mladeži, a stadium right in Split, between thousand-year-old walls and the Adriatic. Created in 2013, ~150,000 festival-goers from more than 120 countries, next edition July 9 to 11, 2027. 18+ only, no camping.
Ultra Europe was born in 2013 in Split, as the first major international extension of Ultra Music Festival — the electronic music gathering founded in Miami in 1999. First based at Poljud stadium, the festival moved in 2019 a few hundred metres away, to Park Mladeži, in the Brodarica district. Three days in late summer, several stages, the biggest names in global house, techno and EDM: the 2025 edition drew around 145,000 festival-goers from more than 120 countries, with more than 55,000 people on the first night alone. 18+ only, no camping — you stay in the city, a stone's throw from the walls of Diocletian's Palace.
Ultra Europe very quickly established itself as the most important branch of the Ultra franchise outside Miami — before other editions spread in turn (Ultra Japan, Ultra Korea...). The festival also invented its own extension, "Destination Ultra": a full week where the programme spills out of the stadium onto the Dalmatian islands, with a regatta and party on Brač, a beach day on Hvar, or a Resistance closing night in a 19th-century fort on Vis. All a separate ticket, for those who want to extend the stay beyond the three nights of stage shows.
The setting is a big part of the festival's identity: Split is a city built in and around the palace of Roman emperor Diocletian, seventeen centuries old and still inhabited — not a museum, a real neighbourhood with its bars and apartments. Park Mladeži is reached on foot from this old town, which changes the game compared with a site isolated in nature: you can move between beach, historic lanes and the Main Stage without leaving the same city, with the Adriatic islands an hour away by boat as a bonus.

Capacity, atmosphere, crowd, hours and on-site budget: the full profile of Ultra Europe 2027 before you get your tickets.
Created in 2013 in Split (Poljud stadium), moved in 2019 to Park Mladeži. Since then, the Ultra franchise has spread across other continents (Ultra Japan, Ultra Korea...), but the European edition remains one of the biggest.
Several stages over three days, with headliners who tour the electronic music world every summer (Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and Hardwell have all played Split in recent editions).
Park Mladeži is reached on foot from Diocletian's Palace (17 centuries of history, still inhabited) and the seafront. Few big electronic festivals take place within walking distance of an ancient site and the sea.
More than 55,000 people on the first night of the 2025 edition alone. Ultra Europe draws an international crowd well beyond Croatia and its neighbours.
25-30°C by day, full sun, little shade in the stadium. Sunscreen, a cap, a water bottle, and good shoes for three nights standing.
3-day pass around €220-240 (excluding fees), but Split sells out and gets expensive during Ultra week: booking accommodation several months ahead changes the final bill a lot.
Dates, hours, transport and lodging: what you need to know before you go.
Three days, Friday to Sunday, early July (July 9-11, 2027, officially confirmed dates). Gates late afternoon, concerts late into the night depending on the city curfew.
3-day General Admission, GA+ or VIP pass, sold exclusively via the official website ultraeurope.com. Prices rise in tiers as the festival approaches — buying early costs less.
The site runs cashless via a connected wristband, to top up before or during the festival.
Park Mladeži is reached on foot or by local bus from Split's old town and seafront. No dedicated parking on site — avoid driving, the city is dense and close.
Dedicated zones and easier access for people with reduced mobility; flag in advance via the official website or Ultra Europe assistance.

Line-up coming soon
The first names usually drop in autumn, several months before the festival. Come back then: the full day-by-day line-up will show up here.
At 6am, a ten-minute journey can feel very long. Pick the right home base now, and the route that leaves you enough energy for the rest.
Flight, train, bus or carpooling: compare the options side by side with your real dates. The idea is to arrive with a bit of battery left — you included.
Bars, restaurants, spots worth a visit between two shows: enough to fill the gaps in the schedule without improvising on the spot at the last minute.
The only royalty-free photos available show the 2015 edition, when Ultra Europe was still held at Poljud stadium — before the move to Park Mladeži in 2019. The atmosphere (stages, crowd, light shows) stays true to the festival today, even though the exact site has changed since.
