The Welsh spearhead of metalcore, between thrash riffs and choruses built for stadiums.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Bullet For My Valentine's world.
Bullet For My Valentine built a melodic metalcore where thrash, rallying choruses and twin vocals answer each other.
From Bridgend, Wales, the band was called Jeff Killed John before becoming Bullet for My Valentine. It was built around singer-guitarist Matthew Tuck and guitarist Michael Paget.
Its first album, "The Poison", came out in October 2005 in the UK and then in February 2006 in the US, and launched the band internationally.
The second, "Scream Aim Fire" (2008), entered the US Billboard 200 at number four and confirmed the band's breakthrough in the American market.
