Faith No More biography

Biography.

The journey and inspirations that shape Faith No More's world.

Faith No More invented a hybrid rock where funk metal, pop and experimentation coexist without ever sounding alike.

Formed in 1979 in San Francisco, "The Real Thing", nominated for a Grammy, and then "Angel Dust" built its reputation at the turn of the 1990s.

After about ten years apart, the members got back together in 2009. Their return to the stage at the Download festival that summer drew around 80,000 spectators.

"Sol Invictus" (2015) is the album of that comeback, whose tour ended in 2021.
