The post-hardcore kings of San Diego, pillars of a whole emo generation.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape Pierce the Veil's world.
Pierce The Veil carried melodic post-hardcore from the Warped Tour scene to the biggest international stages.
Formed in San Diego in 2006 by brothers Vic (vocals, guitar) and Mike Fuentes (drums), the band grew in the wake of the mid-2000s American post-hardcore/emo scene.
"Collide with the Sky" (2012) and its hit "King for a Day" (with Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens) made it an essential reference of the genre, carried by an extremely loyal fan base.
Still active nearly twenty years after their debut — latest album "The Jaws of Life" (2023) — they remain one of the most in-demand bands of the emo/post-hardcore scene on tour, notably in Latin America.
