Arrive fresh in Québec City.
Flight, train, bus or carpooling: compare the options side by side with your real dates. The idea is to arrive with a bit of battery left — you included.

Eleven days of concerts from 8 to 18 July 2027 in the centre of Québec City: five open-air stages, from the Plains of Abraham to Place D'Youville, more than 175 shows in 2026 and a single pass at CAD $180.
The Festival d'été de Québec, or FEQ, takes over the heart of Québec City every July, at the foot of the ramparts: five open-air stages, including the big Bell stage on the Plains of Abraham, plus halls and relaxation zones. For its 58th edition in 2026, it offered more than 175 shows over eleven days, with a single affordable pass; the sites hold from 7,500 to 90,000 people. The 2027 edition is set for 8 to 18 July, and the line-up is not yet known.
The FEQ's strength is its formula: a single pass gives access to the main stages, and it can be shared between friends. It is not a guaranteed spot — the sites fill up — but the mood is that of a city festival, with the Château Frontenac and the ramparts as a backdrop, and free stages at Place de l'Assemblée-Nationale and Place D'Youville.
You get around on foot between the Plains of Abraham, Place George-V and Old Québec; there is no camping, but accommodation is everywhere in town, and the bus network reinforces its lines during the festival. Concerts take place in the evening, with sites opening from 5 or 6 pm (10 am at weekends at Place de l'Assemblée-Nationale).
