Poland's big festival, June 30 to July 3, 2027 at a former military airfield in Gdynia, on the Baltic coast: four days, several stages and around 140,000 people in total, headlined by Tame Impala.
Open'er takes place every early summer in Gdynia, on Poland's Baltic coast, at the former Gdynia-Kosakowo military airfield. Born in 2002 as a single day with The Chemical Brothers, moving to four days in 2009, it has set up its stages on this site since 2006 and drew around 140,000 people in 2025. The 2027 edition is announced for June 30 to July 3, with Tame Impala, Sombr, The Neighbourhood, RAYE and Patti Smith Quartet as the first names.
The lineup is very broad: pop, indie, rock, rap and electronic share the Orange Main Stage and the side stages. The festival has hosted Prince, Coldplay, The Strokes, Drake and Arctic Monkeys, often for their first concerts in Poland. It has also been voted best major festival at the European Festival Awards several times.
The festival runs at two speeds: the site opens in late afternoon and the party runs late into the night, with equipped camping (shops, showers, charging) and a free shuttle from Gdynia station at the 2026 edition. Gdynia and Gdańsk, with their beaches and old towns, are just minutes away: plenty to extend the stay.
