Lollapalooza Berlin 2027

The Lollapalooza Berlin festival.
In a nutshell.

Lollapalooza Berlin takes place in July at the Olympic Stadium and the Olympiapark, west of the German capital. Launched in 2015, it was the first European edition of the festival born in Chicago in 1991: Tempelhofer Feld, Treptower Park and then the Hoppegarten racecourse hosted it before it settled in the Olympic park in 2018. It celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025 with around 60,000 people a day. The 2027 edition is announced for July 17 and 18; the lineup isn't known yet.

The lineup blends international headliners and German artists: Radiohead, Billie Eilish (whose 2019 set remains a benchmark), Foo Fighters, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa and Sam Smith have all played Berlin. Several stages share the stadium, the Maifeld lawn and the park paths, with experience zones.

The festival is car-free: you reach the Olympiapark via the U2 metro line or the S3 and S9 S-Bahn, a few hundred metres from the entrance. On-site payment is via a rechargeable RFID wristband. Children are welcome with an adult (tickets from €10 for 7-11 year-olds), and 16-17 year-olds need authorisation to stay past midnight.
