The French edition of the Lollapalooza giant, at the Hippodrome ParisLongchamp, in mid-July. Three days, ~170,000 festival-goers, a very mainstream pop/rock/rap lineup. Launched in 2017. The 2026 edition was cancelled to reinvent itself; returning July 18 to 20, 2027.
Lollapalooza Paris was born in 2017, the French edition of the American festival founded by Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction) in 1991. It takes place at the Hippodrome ParisLongchamp, in the Bois de Boulogne — the exact same site as Solidays, a few weeks apart. Three days in mid-July, ~170,000 festival-goers, a very mainstream pop/rock/rap lineup blending international stars and the French scene. The 2024 edition was cancelled because of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony in the same area; the 2026 edition was cancelled by the organisers to “reinvent” the format before returning in 2027.
Lollapalooza Paris is part of the global Lollapalooza family (Chicago, Berlin, São Paulo, Argentina, Chile, Stockholm...), with a shared identity — several stages, a carefully curated food offering, a community village — adapted to each host city.
The site is in Paris, served by metro and shuttles; most festival-goers head home or to a hotel to sleep, no camping on site. In mid-July, Paris weather is generally warm and sunny, with possible stormy showers late in the day.
