The festival of discoveries, late April 2027 in central Bourges: a week, around fifteen venues, evening headliners and about thirty young artists spotted by the iNOUïS programme.
The 2027 Printemps de Bourges takes place in late April in central Bourges, in the Cher department. Since 1977, it's been the big gathering for musical discovery: a week of concerts spread across around fifteen venues, evening headliners under the W big top or on the Séraucourt stage, and above all the iNOUïS programme that showcases about thirty young artists.
Le Printemps is as much a launchpad as a festival: every year around thirty bands are selected from more than 3,000 entries to play in front of industry professionals and the public under the iNOUïS label. Many French artists were discovered here before going on to fill arenas. Alongside this, the paid programme lines up genuinely big names, from chanson to rap to electronic.
Everything happens in the city, on foot: Bourges is a compact medieval town, with its UNESCO-listed Gothic cathedral and its marshes. The festival takes over the exhibition park, venues, squares and bars, and a good share of the events — street stages, showcases, exhibitions — are free.
