Tame Impala biography

Biography.

The journey and inspirations that shape Tame Impala's world.

Tame Impala is the psychedelic project of Australian Kevin Parker: saturated guitars, synths and pop melodies.

Kevin Parker, an Australian multi-instrumentalist, founded Tame Impala in 2007 in Perth, Western Australia.

The albums followed one another: "Innerspeaker" (2010), then "Lonerism" (2012), nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Alternative Music Album category, and "Currents", released on 17 July 2015.

"The Slow Rush" came out on 14 February 2020, followed by "Deadbeat" in 2025, the project's fifth studio album.
