The British rave pioneers turned live institution, between big beat and punk energy.
Biography.
The journey and inspirations that shape The Prodigy's world.
The Prodigy made British rave a festival music, with a concert energy that has stayed intact.
Formed in 1990 in Braintree, Essex, by producer Liam Howlett and dancers Keith Flint and Leeroy Thornhill, the group was joined by MC Maxim.
In 1996, Keith Flint went from dancer to singer on "Firestarter", a single that preceded the album "The Fat of the Land" (1997) and placed the group among the world's top electro headliners.
Keith Flint died on 4 March 2019. Liam Howlett and Maxim carried on, and the group remains a safe bet at festivals, rock and electro alike.
