One of Europe's biggest electronic festivals, at the former Weeze airport: three days in a genuine pop-up "city," around 75,000 people a day, July 16 to 18, 2027.
Parookaville takes place every summer at the former Weeze airport, right by the Dutch border. The concept: turn the site into a genuine pop-up "city" of electronic music, with its own districts, stages with monumental set designs (including a giant main stage shaped like an industrial factory) and around 225,000 people combined over the weekend. The 2027 edition runs July 16 to 18.
The "city" concept is taken literally: camping zones named like real districts, stages with spectacular set designs, and an electronic lineup geared toward the big international scene (house, EDM, commercial techno).
On-site camping, right next to the former airport's runways, is an integral part of the experience: several comfort levels are offered, from classic tents to more comfortable options.
