Resurrection Fest 2027

The Resurrection Fest festival.
In a nutshell.

Resurrection Fest takes place every summer in Celeiro, in the municipality of Viveiro, on the Atlantic coast of Galicia. Run since 2006, it's now one of Europe's biggest metal, hardcore and punk festivals: the 22nd edition, June 30 to July 3, 2027, follows a record attendance of 140,000 people over the 4 days of the 2026 edition, with more than 100 bands across 4 stages. The lineup hasn't been announced yet.

The lineup covers the full range of metal and heavy music — heavy metal, hardcore, punk rock — with international headliners every year. Viveiro isn't a default festival destination: it's a Galician port town, far from the main routes, which only strengthens the pilgrimage-like identity of a crowd that comes from across Europe specifically for the event.

The site offers two on-site accommodation options: classic camping (Resu Camp) and glamping. The festival is fully cashless, with lockers, organised shuttles from several towns, and even a small chapel (Resuland) for festival-goers' improvised ceremonies.
