Summer Breeze Open Air 2027

The Summer Breeze Open Air festival.
In a nutshell.

Summer Breeze Open Air is one of Germany's biggest metal festivals: it is held in Dinkelsbühl, Bavaria, in the countryside near the village of Sinbronn. The 2027 edition, from 18 to 21 August, celebrates the festival's 30th anniversary (it began in 1997) and is already sold out: all festival tickets, camping included, were gone by 5 September 2026, an earliest-ever record according to the organisers. The line-up promises more than 125 bands, about sixty of which are already known.

The bill mixes European metal heavyweights — Electric Callboy, Edguy, Children of Bodom, HammerFall, Halestorm, Eluveitie, Dark Funeral — with a big stage of more extreme, folk, power and metalcore acts. For the 30th anniversary, a special "Summer Breeze Legends & Orchestra" show is announced, as well as John Bush's tribute to the songs of Anthrax (1993–2003).

The ticket includes camping and the presale fee: you come for four days, pitch your tent on site and pay with a cashless wristband. Festival tickets are sold out; day tickets will be offered later, in limited numbers, according to the organisers. Better to follow their announcements.
