One of Spain's historic festivals, born in 1995 on the same beach as Rototom Sunsplash: three days of rock and alternative pop, July 15 to 17, 2027, prices already announced.
The FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicàssim) takes place every summer on the same beach as Rototom Sunsplash, on Spain's Costa del Azahar. Born in 1995 as Festival Independiente, it's one of Spain's historic festivals, long associated with a rock, indie and alternative pop lineup. The 2027 edition, July 15 to 17, has already announced its first prices — a fairly rare thing at this point in the year.
Thirty years after it launched, the FIB remains a highlight of the Spanish summer, with an authorised capacity of around 53,000 people and more than 135,000 festival-goers combined at the 2026 edition. The historic lineup leans rock and indie, with big international headliners every year.
Like its neighbour Rototom Sunsplash, the FIB leans on the beach-and-camping combination: the festival's official site opens directly onto the Costa del Azahar, and camping is an integral part of the experience for a large share of the crowd.
