Experimental, independent festival at Parc de la Villette: free sound picnics by day, paid indoor concerts by night.
Every late May, Villette Sonique takes over Parc de la Villette for four days of experimental, noise and avant-garde electronic music. The festival alternates free open-air sound picnics with paid concerts in the park's venues.
Villette Sonique has built a distinctive identity on the Paris scene: a sharp lineup geared toward experimental, noise, post-punk and avant-garde electronic music, across the 55 hectares of Parc de la Villette.
The format alternates two modes: free open-air sound picnics, entirely free, and paid indoor concerts at Le Trabendo, Cabaret Sauvage, La Grande Halle or Philharmonie 2, between €15 and €40 a ticket.
