Arrive fresh in Paris.
Flight, train, bus or carpooling: compare the options side by side with your real dates. The idea is to arrive with a bit of battery left — you included.

Paris's eco-responsible festival, at the heart of the Bois de Vincennes, the first weekend of June. ~100,000 people, 5 stages, a sharp indie and electronic lineup, and an environmental charter applied since 2011. Next edition June 2027 (dates to be confirmed).
We Love Green was born in 2011 as a bet: build a sharp music festival while sticking to a strict environmental charter. Based since 2016 on the Plaine de la Belle Étoile, in the Bois de Vincennes, it brings together around 100,000 people over three days every first weekend of June. Five stages (La Prairie, La Clairière, La Canopée, Lalaland, Think Tank), around fifty artists, and a lineup mixing international headliners, the French scene and electronic discoveries.
Ecology isn't window dressing: an environmental charter from the very first edition, mostly plant-based food, single-use plastic eliminated, widespread sorting, low-carbon power, reused furniture. The festival serves as a lab — what works here gets adopted elsewhere. The "Think Tank" strand runs talks and panels alongside the music, on climate, food and the city.
The site is a wood: you walk on earth and grass, in the shade of trees, which changes everything compared with a paved esplanade. It's a day-and-evening festival with no camping — Paris is right there, you go home or to a hotel to sleep. Early June, Paris-region weather is mild but unpredictable: bring something warm and shoes that can handle mud if a storm passes through.

Capacity, atmosphere, crowd, hours and on-site budget: the full profile of We Love Green 2027 before you get your tickets.
Created in 2011 to prove a festival can be musically ambitious AND stick to a strict environmental charter. It's become the French benchmark of the genre.
The Plaine de la Belle Étoile, in the Bois de Vincennes: earth, grass, trees. Shade in the afternoon, a different atmosphere from an urban site — but mud possible if it rains.
You sleep in Paris and go home each night. Metro line 1 to Château de Vincennes, then a short walk or shuttle. Late shuttles / Noctilien night buses available.
From big open-air stages to more intimate spaces under the trees. The "Think Tank" alternates concerts and talks (climate, food, the city).
20-25°C by day, cooler in the evening, storms possible. Light clothing + a warm layer, comfortable closed shoes (natural terrain), a water bottle (free water points, no plastic).
No accommodation needed if you live in the region. On-site food is fairly high-end (a responsible gastronomic village), so a bit pricier than a classic festival.
Dates, hours, transport and lodging: what you need to know before you go.
Three days, Friday to Sunday, the first weekend of June (2027 dates not yet announced; 2026: June 5-7). Opens early afternoon, ends around 11pm-midnight — it's a site in the city, no all-nighters.
At welovegreen.fr, in phases. 1-day pass, 3-day pass, "green" options (transport, food). The festival often sells out before the event.
Fully cashless via the festival wristband (top up online or on site). Balance refunded after the festival.
Metro line 1 → Château de Vincennes, then ~15 min walk or shuttle. RER A → Vincennes. Bus 46, 56. Cycling encouraged (supervised bike parking). Driving strongly discouraged (no parking, restricted traffic zone).
The site is partly on natural terrain but has accessible platforms at the main stages, adapted restrooms, dedicated reception. Flag in advance via the website.

Line-up coming soon
The first names usually drop in autumn, several months before the festival. Come back then: the full day-by-day line-up will show up here.
At 6am, a ten-minute journey can feel very long. Pick the right home base now, and the route that leaves you enough energy for the rest.
Flight, train, bus or carpooling: compare the options side by side with your real dates. The idea is to arrive with a bit of battery left — you included.
Bars, restaurants, spots worth a visit between two shows: enough to fill the gaps in the schedule without improvising on the spot at the last minute.
The festival entrance in the Bois de Vincennes and two concerts under the trees — the wooded setting that makes the difference.
