The big festival of Germany's North Sea coast, from 15 to 18 July 2027 near Cuxhaven: German pop, rock and hip-hop, cashless payment, camping on site… and tickets already on sale from €159.
Deichbrand is one of northern Germany's big festivals: it is held every mid-July near Cuxhaven, on the North Sea coast, on the site of the former Nordholz airfield. The 2027 edition is set for 15 to 18 July; tickets are already on sale, some categories are sold out, and the line-up is not yet announced. According to the press, the festival draws about 60,000 people.
The bill mixes mostly German pop, rock, punk and hip-hop with a few international names: in 2026, Rise Against, SDP, Electric Callboy, Scooter, Marteria, Sido, Dropkick Murphys and Beatsteaks. Nothing is announced for 2027 yet: names generally arrive in the months after the first tickets go on sale.
You come for four days: camping on site (open from Thursday noon, or Wednesday with early arrival), motorhome camps, a more comfortable "Comfort Village", and an entirely cashless festival with a rechargeable chip wristband. There are also children's tickets (ages 8 to 12) and parking sold separately.
"Confirmed": read on the festival's official website. "To reconfirm": announced, but not yet rechecked by us. "Estimate" or "upcoming": not yet announced by the organiser. See the official website
