Arrive fresh in Milwaukee.
Flight, train, bus or carpooling: compare the options side by side with your real dates. The idea is to arrive with a bit of battery left — you included.

Nine days of concerts over three weekends, from 24 June to 10 July 2027, on the shore of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee: twelve stages, more than 600 artists in 2026 and a festival that calls itself the world's largest.
Summerfest takes place every summer on Milwaukee's lakefront, in Henry Maier Festival Park, a 75-acre park on the shore of Lake Michigan. The festival runs over three three-day weekends, with a dozen stages going from noon to midnight, and bills itself as the world's largest music festival. In 2026, more than 600 artists played there, from country to rap via rock and pop; the 2027 edition is already set for 24 June to 10 July, but its line-up is not yet known.
The line-up follows the logic of a river-sized festival: a few big shows in the amphitheatre and the pavilion (Garth Brooks, Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Don Toliver and Muse were on the 2026 edition), and hundreds of sets on the smaller stages, where 176 artists played for the first time last year. No 2027 name has been announced: the programme is revealed in spring (in 2026 the headliners dropped on 15 April).
There is no camping: you come from the city or a hotel, and you move around a park rather than a field, with a gondola lift flying over the site, beer and local food stands, and the lake as a backdrop. Everything is paid by card, booths convert cash, and entry has sometimes been free on certain early afternoons in exchange for food donations.
