One of Spain's biggest rock festivals, April 29 to May 1, 2027 in Villarrobledo, Castile: three days, more than 100 artists announced and around 100,000 people for the 30th edition.
Viña Rock takes place every spring in Villarrobledo, a town in Castilla-La Mancha, about two hours southeast of Madrid. Born in 1997, it's now one of Spain's biggest rock festivals: the 30th edition, April 29 to May 1, 2027, announces more than 100 artists and aims to get back to 2025's record attendance, with around 100,000 people in 2026. The lineup hasn't been announced yet.
The lineup is very broad, from rock to ska to reggae to hip-hop and hardcore, with an overwhelming majority of Spanish-speaking bands. The festival takes place at the Recinto Ferial, at the edge of town, with several open-air stages. Beyond the concerts, Viña Rock also runs a wine fair and sports activities, in the spirit of a big Castilian spring celebration.
Camping is included in the 3-day pass, and the site offers services designed for a long celebration: shower vouchers, lockers, transport packages. Villarrobledo is a small town that lives at the festival's rhythm for these three days; most indoor accommodation is found around Albacete.
